This is the second year in a row we've gone to the Lazy 5 Ranch and it is worth every penny! It really is fun for everyone. You can drive through in your own car or do a wagon ride - which is a little more expensive. We like to drive the car so we can roll up our windows if we want - the wagon seems much more exposed! ha. This year we went on Sunday, our first full day of vacation, and the line was really long to enter the park where the animals are- they do a booming business! Luckily it moved along pretty quickly, and once we got in it was fine.  "This is my heaven!"  It's pretty fun/funny when they stick their whole heads in your car!  These baby cows were so cute! And we saw quite a few animals nursing too. I thought this collage was quite funny - like the babies are dreaming of milk. :-)  Putting their heads out of the sunroof - life is good!  Boys were in the front, girls in the back.  We found out why the signs say "Don't feed the Zebras!" They get pretty aggressive with the food! This guy almost grabbed the whole bucket from Grandpa. After that we had "Zebra warning!" alerts and quickly rolled up the windows. The people in front of us were in the back of a truck with no back window so they didn't have that option!  So many different animals - so beautiful, so CUTE! Grandpa decided finally to feed an Ostrich. Both grandchildren were warning him not to - "Those are aggressive!" Well - you can see what happened in the video below:  The bison were a FAVORITE for everyone because of their method of asking for and receiving food. They would open their mouths wide and back and stick their tongues out - usually to the side and curled. They "waggled" them too. Such funny guys! Pictures kind of explain - but video is even better! See Below:  FYI: Emu's peck/bite too. Don't think on purpose - they can't help it!  What a great afternoon! Great way to kick off our week - fun for everyone!
